A Difficult Saturday

In TFC on February 7, 2009 at 11:56 am

While I was on the air with the show on Saturday night, after a very challenging day at my  job as a journo, I got a call at about 1045.

It was a co-worker telling me that a lot of people had lost their lives in the bushfires.

It would be bad.

Sometimes the words “disaster”, “tragedy” and “crisis” are suddenly and totally useless to describe what is happening around us.

Words sometimes fail us.  Our emotions overwhelm our vocabulary.  This is such a time.
