The Full “Four Score” Catastrophe Playlist October 10th 2009

In TFC on October 10, 2009 at 11:53 am

Now we are 80. ..programs that is. Yep, there have been 160 hours of TFC since the program sashayed on to the airwaves in March last year. In that time the Pet Shop Boys, Presets Rufus Wainwright, Doris Day, Yma Sumac & Sunshine Not Secular have been among the most played artistes in that time.  By the time program #100 comes along I ‘ll do a full “league table”.

Before I go, if you want humour that’s high altitude don’t delay & click here – about 25 minutes in is amazing.  It was 1966 and homosexuality was still illegal in the UK!!

Now here’s yer actual playlist.

A great track in Scottish Gaelic from a talented bunch of young fellers making a big name for themselves all around Scotland and way beyond those who speak the language.  Next week , the Gaelic version of an eisteddfod (a word from the Welsh meaning “sitting doing thing” if you deconstruct it) starts. The Mod starts in Oban on Monday. AND Have a look at this: a Melburnian link to the Mod!!!!!
