People who use words well are usually people who think deeply about the human condition. Ray Gosling is one of those.
When I lived in the UK, he was one of the great radio & television story tellers. His documentaries and features were rarely anything other than compelling. He’s also a man who has been at the forefront of the gay and lesbian rights movement in Britain from early on.
Now he is front and centre of a significant story himself. It has emerged that he “confessed” to friends that he killed a former lover who as an “assisted suicide”.
The great unspoken secret many of us carry is knowing someone who has done exactly the same thing. Now this is out in the open with a professional broadcaster/reporter as the central character.
We should all keep more than a weather eye on this story.

And here is a great example of his style as a story teller.
