Radio was way ahead when it came to “inter-activity” – one of the horrific management-speak buzz phrases which dog our era. Phew, glad to get that out of my system!
Now, last Saturday one of my lovely listeners, Chris I think it was, reacted to a track I played of opera diva Leontyn Price singing a song in a cabaret/contemporary genre. He emailed the show and said I should give Ms Price doing “Knoxville: Summer of 1915” by Samuel Barber a go. So I did.
That’s what comes from the intimacy of the wireless: people talk, people listen = helpful suggestions. Love it. Inter-activity suggets consultant inspired training modules om social networking paradigms = flim flam
Sharing is a much nicer word.
And here’s one back at ya…also by Samuel Barber
