In TFC on August 7, 2010 at 10:59 pm
Presented by Tim “Sensible” Harrison & Andy “Box Step” Bell
A meeting of minds.  One finely honed, the other belonging to a fine hoon.  Take your pick mes braves.
###
Because The Night – Patti  Smith Group
Light My Fire – Shirley Bassey
I’ve Smoked Too Much – Lawrence Arabia
That Lucky Old Sun – Bing Crosby
Bing was one of the first singing superstars with a global following.  He started in a jazzy kinda way before become the crooners’ crooner.  His radio shows were brilliant, his “Road” films with Bob Hope were very funny and his family was totally dysfunctional.  Not a nice man apparently, but a great entertainer.  There’s a lesson there.
Stranded In The Jungle – The Cadets
What Would Brian Boitano Do – South Park (Cast)
Attention Must Be Paid – Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder

The soundtrack of Andy’s first summer as a student.  In dem days a double album was quite a thing.  And this was an album without peer.  The most famous track “Isn’t She Lovely” became a hit without Stevie Wonder ever releasing it as a single.  A British dude called David Parton finally released it and it was – quelle surprise – a mega hit. Anyhoo SITKOL stands the test of time, listen to it and be delighted.
