Singing up for public broadcasting

The atmospherics around public broadcasting are rarely calm.

It’s full of lefty, feminist, chardy drinking ratbags who gorge themselves on the taxpayers’ teet  say its critics.

It provides a service commercial media can’t and/or won’t provide say its supporters.

It’s all in the eye and ear of the beholder and the be-hearer.

The chorus of disapproval directed towards the likes of the BBC, CBC, National Public Radio and Radio New Zealand is now being matched by some creative boostering.
