July already !! Where did the year go my friends ? On Midsumma, Radiothons, footy games, strawberry milkshakes and a couple of dozen silly shows.  Rug up and enjoy.

Here’s a cheerio to sister show on SubCity Radio @ the University of Glasgow Ceol co-dhui/Music: Whatever happens and a big moran taing (thank you) to all those who contacted to the show and added their humour and wisdom.

Onya Catastrophe-ettes.

###

Feelin’ Good – Paul Capsis

I first saw this remarkable performer in 1992 in Perth.  All those years ago at Subiaco’s “Hole in the Wall Theatre” it was clear that this was a huge talent.

Dreamweaver – Erin Hamilton

Pretty Flamingo – Manfred Mann

Disco 2000 – Keane

Nice ‘n’ Sleazy – The Stranglers

Let’s Put The Lights Out – Rudy Vallée

Rudy was a megaphone singer who was a 30s heartthrob.  He appeared in the original stage and film versions of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” which starred Robert Morse, of Mad Men fame. Rudy got the emails flying on Saturday.  Who would have thought it!

The Brotherhood Of Man – Daniel Radcliffe & Cast

And here is D. Radcliffe AKA Harry Potter in HTSIBWRT in its current evocation on Broadway,

Natural State – The Topp Twins

Unexpressed – Adam Guettel

A superb song by John Bucchino

Madeira ‘M Dear – Flanders & Swann

Much loved British entertainers whose memory is kept alive by Armstrong & Miller‘s naughty parodies!

Whenever We Get Close – Ute Lemper

Under The Moon Of Love – Showaddywaddy

Bad Girls – Donna Summer

The Notorious Landlady – Fred Astaire

Samba De Orfeu – Vince Guaraldi

Biba Nova – Rock Follies

Masterswarm – Andrew Bird
