Music yet again comes to the aid of a troubled week. For me, it was the mine accident in Wales that cut me to the quick. Cilybebyll is part of my old “patch” as a reporter for commercial radio & the BBC back in the mid 1980s. For once it is really a “tight knit community” that is dealing with a huge loss, not a media confection. The spirit of the valleys of south west Wales is very close to my heart and the program’s track from Brigyn is dedicated to those coping with loss at Glofa’r Gleision/Gleision Colliery.
